We are celebrating another Sensory-Friendly Mass for families and adults of all ages on Sunday, October 20 at 2 pm at St. Rita Church.
We want to make a home for all here at St. Rita, including our members and neighbors who are neurodivergent, have developmental disabilities, or who find our usual Masses overwhelming due to sensory needs. This Mass is for you - or someone who know! Come join us or share the news with a neighbor who needs a more relaxed environment.
We will have reduced lighting and volume, soft music, freedom to move comfortably, and space for sensory breaks. We will not use incense. Please feel welcome to bring sensory items for your comfort. Mass will be less than 45 minutes. Low-gluten hosts availabile.
