St. Rita Parish continues our efforts to collect food and pantry items for these following programs and ministries who offer meals, food pantry, and assistance to those in need:

Saint Peter’s Kitchen, Webster HOPE, and Saint Joseph's House of Hospitality.

Nonperishable items may be dropped off in the St. Rita Church greeting area for distribution to the above ministries.  

Your support of these outreach ministries is greatly appreciated. 

 

Donations - Common Items Needed

Peanut butter and jelly

Pasta (ziti, penne) and sauces

Toiletry items (body wash, shampoo, tooth paste, etc.)

Dish soap, laundry soap

Paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper

St. Joseph's House of Hospitality needs the following items as they continue their daily lunch program and support to those most in need with grocery items:

Soups, vegetables, fruits, tuna, meats (canned or boxed),

Peanut butter and jelly,

Pasta and sauces,

Energy bars, snack packages, and fruit cups for lunches,

Coffee, tea, and packaged drinks,

Toiletry items (body wash, shampoo, tooth paste, etc.),

Dish soap, laundry soap,

Paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper

 

There are several ways to help:
Continue to bring donations of non-perishable items to Saint Rita and place them in or near the shopping cart in our church greeting area whenever the church is open for Mass.


Volunteer at one of these ministries.  Call the Saint Rita parish office for more information.

 
Consider monetary donations to these ministries.  Donations are used for emergency needs such as food purchases and payments for heating bills.
