Our traditional May Day Crowning was beautiful. A wonderful tradition continues. These 1st graders asked for books for the new Kindergarten instead of birthday gifts. The 4th & 5th graders attended Teacher Appreciation Mass at the Cathedral. Celebrating Ms. Jensen on Principal's Day Catching up with the monthly bulletin boards~here's May.. ..April board... ...March board. In honor of Earth Day the 1st graders cleaned up the garden outside their room. We can't thank our school admins enough for all they do for us! Everyone had a fun time at the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Our 1st graders lead us in prayer and song at our April liturgy "What Happened After Happily After" was the play our 6th graders did this April. Donations for Ukraine filled 3 cars plus funds were raised from a Dress Down Day Kindergartners using their Chromebooks for daily activities. Praying for those in the Ukraine. Tubing at Greystione was a wonderful fund filled fund raiser for the school.. Winter Fun Day is an annual tradition on the day before Winter Break. Building snowmen on Winter Fun Day. Comfy Reading Day was new event this year's Catholic School week. Wacky Wednesday is always a Catholic Schools Week day. The 1st graders in church to celebrate and learn about the Feast of the Epiphany The December Birthday Bulletin board was hand painted by a grandmother of a student The cast of "Legend of the Christmas King" - this year's Christmas play. The 3rd & 4th graders signing their hearts out in the play GOAL! Our Veterans Day speaker was Petty Officer First Class Charlton Harley. The 5th graders' choral reading was moving as always. The hats help us to honor all service personnel. By Going Pink for a day we raised $390 for Breast Cancer Awareness. Our "Share the Joy" project was a success again this year. We made cards for the service personnel to go along with the bags of candy.. The Marathon prize winners showing what they chose. The 3rd graders process in for our All Saints Day mass. Students lead us in song, prayer & the bringing up the gifts We celebrate Red Ribbon Week! Walked the campus as part of Red Ribbon Week's focus on healthy life style. The Fall Book Fair is set up and ready for students Our Fall Service project was a success. Just some of what was collect for the Fall Service project. October mass opening procession. The tradition of hot dogs and Ice cream when done walking continues. Cousins are God Drops the same week. Everyone enjoys recess on the playground. A special visitor came to the New Family Ice Cream Social. The kindergartners sat in the chapel for our opening liturgy. Choir lead us in signing the response to the Psalm Fifth grade students on their way to do the Prayers of the Faithful. Bringing up the gifts. Ms. Jensen's first school day at SRS! The buses start to arrive. The student drop off line begins too, The 1st & 2nd graders meeting their teachers on day one. Students in grades 3-5 await classmates with their new teachers. Kindergartners waving goodbye to their parents so they could go to their classroom. All ready for the new school year.
