Mrs. Smith is a liberal arts graduate from Christendom College in Front Royal, VA. She has been teaching for 6 years and has taught a range of subjects from PreK3 through 8th grade: literature, Latin, logic/intro to philosophy, debate, public speaking, and music. 

She has directed 12 children's plays and has been playing the piano for 17 years. Mrs. Smith has recently picked up the organ as a second instrument and is an accompanist at her local church, the Fellowship of St. Alban at St. Cecilia's. She also performs in the Evensong choir and occasionally cantors.

Mrs. Smith has been acting since she was 14 years old. Her first play was the Wizard of Oz, and the last play she performed in was Lady Windermere's Fan by Oscar Wilde. She has performed a wide variety of roles, everything from the musical theater romantic lead, comedic roles, evil villains, and the serious musical theater lead. 

Mrs. Smith loves working at St. Rita's. She loves the kids and she loves all the public speaking opportunities that the students are exposed to at St. Rita's. Mrs. Smith is looking forward to another fun year in music class and can't wait for you to join her!
