St Rita Wins American Heart Association Challenge
In order to keep children healthy and active, the American Heart Association developed a new initiative, the Heart Walk & Run Child Health Challenge.
The American Heart Association selected 25 local schools, including St. Rita School, to participate and asked them to make a video showing why they could use new PE equipment. Mr. Mutrie created a video with help from the entire school. Four winners were chosen out of the 25 video submissions and WE WERE ONE OF THEM!

Who We Are
Welcome to St. Rita School where JOY
is our theme! We embrace learning with our basic theme J(Jesus), O(Others), Y(Yourself).
St. Rita School is committed to the Gospel of Jesus and the precepts and traditions of the Catholic faith. We are a family of caring teachers, staff, students and parents. Each student is encouraged to develop a sense of belonging and pride while pursuing a strong academic program and an inner motivation to learn. As Monroe County businesses turn from manufacturing toward higher technology fields, our math, science and technology programs are continually updated to meet the latest learning in these fields. Our teachers are prepared to address the many changes in today's technology as well as instilling the values of a Catholic education - St. Rita School is a place "Where Faith and Knowledge Meet".
