St Rita Wins American Heart Association Challenge
In order to keep children healthy and active, the American Heart Association developed a new initiative, the Heart Walk & Run Child Health Challenge.
The American Heart Association selected 25 local schools, including St. Rita School, to participate and asked them to make a video showing why they could use new PE equipment. Mr. Mutrie created a video with help from the entire school. Four winners were chosen out of the 25 video submissions and WE WERE ONE OF THEM!

Special School Events
Before Care/After Care Programs
Before Care runs from 7:00 AM to 7:50 AM for grades K-5 and 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM for PreK students. Before Care is located in the main school building.
After Care runs from 2:30pm to 6:00pm for all students on all school days except half-days. Our After Care program is located in the barn behind the school and parish center.
Students attending the After Care program will be playing on the playground and/or in the gym. Therefore, children should be dressed in play clothes. Children are expected to go outside with the group unless we are notified to the contrary by a parent.
After care must be contacted with any changes in your child’s/children’s after school schedule, as they are responsible for the daily attendance sheets. If you are unable to contact Janice Matt, our After Care supervisor, please notify us at St. Rita School and we will notify her.

We can not accept occasional students because it causes staff scheduling problems. Therefore, we require a solid commitment from you.
