2018 Catholic Revival
The Battle is The Lord’s ~ Rejoice and Be Glad

You are invited to participate in the 2018 Catholic Revival hosted by the Diocese of Rochester and Immaculate Conception/St. Bridget’s Parish. This year’s theme, “The Battle is The Lord’s, Rejoice and Be Glad”, will be ministered by Father Chester Smith from the Diocese of Indianapolis. Come prepared to share a delicious meal, fellowship, inspiring music and dynamic preaching.

The Revival is being held at Immaculate Conception/St. Bridget’s Catholic Church on November 15th and 16th. There will be a light dinner at 5:30 each evening with Praise and Worship beginning at 6:30 PM. Father Smith will begin preaching at 7:00 PM.

St. Rita Society

Roast Beef Dinner

in the Parish Center

The St. Rita Society hosts this delicious meal that will include roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetables, salad, bread - and includes beverage and dessert. Tickets are $12 per person and will be on sale this weekend and next after all masses and also at the Parish Office during the week. Proceeds will benefit a wide variety of St. Rita Society outreach projects. Please join us for a great meal!

If anyone would like to help out setting up, serving or clean up - we would love to have you join us! If you can help, please contact Elaine King at 671-4930. This is a great opportunity for students in Grades 9-12 that are in need of community service hours.

Sharing the Feast - Thanksgiving Basket Project

St. Rita parish provides Thanksgiving Food baskets to many families who could really use your help. If you are able to help out with food donations - please bring your non-perishable, non-expired Thanksgiving Food items to the Church greeting area or the Parish Office beginning next weekend. The deadline to return items is Sunday, November 18 at Noon.

We need turkeys too! Please drop off all turkey donations to the Parish Office Only - open Monday through Thursday between 9:00am and 4:15pm or on Fridays between 9:00am and 12:00 noon.

Needed items include:

Plastic reusable shopping bags
Corn Cream of Mushroom Soup
Green Beans Sweet Potatoes/Yams
Apple Sauce White Potatoes
Stuffing Gravy or Gravy mixes
Salad dressings Canned Cranberries

If you know a parishioner or local Webster family who could use a Thanksgiving Basket, please call Julie at the parish office at 671-1100 x 13. Confidentiality will be respected.

Hands of Christ Award 2019


Please consider nominating a high school senior (graduating class of 2019) for the diocesan Hands of Christ award. The Hands of Christ is a recognition program to assist parishes in affirming their high school seniors who are “Hands of Christ” in their church, home, school and community.

A nominated senior needs to meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate a Christian attitude by word & example
  • Be actively involved in their parish as well as their school community.
  • Be a positive role model for their peers.
  • Is a participating Roman Catholic in a parish in the Diocese of Rochester.
  • Is currently a High School Senior.

All nominations are due by Monday, November 19
